nah I did the opposite. I have a chair plug on the CROSSOVER PART of my engine. the BOV is completely exposed. I had a chair plug on that part with a 10mm hole for the flutter but I could hardly hear it so I took it off. I dont care about putting a filter on the BOV coz I dont reallly think its going to suck in a mass amount of air. down the track maybe I will..

I took the second chair leg off and im fine with the whoshh I like it and its nice and loud now. next is the turbo with the pod on the end. how did u guys block the crossover whole though??

im going through a hole which as I heard makes some pretty loud flutter noise!! what if I disconnect the bov completely??

actually im on the turkish side of the border hahah. I did all the things I should be doin but I dunno. the flutter noise is so small I think I need a pod filter for it to actually go loud. who knows . doesnt matter ill try something else see if it works.

sorry im actually overseas in a place called cyprus :D bit far hehe. I didnt take the pipe coming from under the xover its still there. should I take that pipe off too and bloack the xover or what?

I got the factory spoiler too myne also wobbles. theres no support bit in the middle. its not gonna break though coz I pushed the car to 240 for couple mins nothin happend to it. that was what I was scared of in the first place

I did the chairtip mod but when I blocked the BOV the flutter sound is not noticible at all from the outside of the car. it didnt work for me I dont know why. but when the BOV is completely open I can hear the BOV WHOOSSHHHHH sound pretty loud. why isnt myne fluttering?

ok look if your looking at your car dead straight its on the left of the BOV. to recognise the BOV just look for the writing that says "BOSH" on it. the hose you will be disconnecting will be a 10cm hose (approx) which u will have to cap both exposed ends with chair tips

I got my 2006 BF turbo ute with the magnet pack- the hard top with the bulge- the sports spoiler- the stainless steel sports bars and a full tank of petrol for 42k driveaway even with 12 months rego. depends who is bargaining with them. they can really drop the price alot. talking to the manager is just a bullsh*t excuse.

if you think moving up the road is hard try moving overseas!!! I recently moved overseas and I had to do several hundred trips from geelong to melbourne port with my whole house to move into shipping containers to be sent off to cyprus. its so hard its not funny. I was thinking about burning the whole lot and getting new sh*t delivered but the insurance company doesnt deliver overseas :(

hey man I like it alot. its a nice height. I think when its extremely low its kinda unconfortable. I had an evo before my bf ute and I lowered it way too much. at the end I wasnt even happy driving it anymore coz it was too low. that's my say anyway. dont blast me

have u gone to the website of the manufacturer and downloaded the latest firmware?? that helped myne. it was doing the same on my D-link router I reinstalled the firmware even though it was the same version it fixed it :S

once funds are cleared that will be the first thing I will be ordering. warrenty is no problem lol I just hope I didnt get a lemon. so far havent heard any bad things from the BF ute :S. click the link on my signature for pics. thanks

yep untill about a month ago u could import both right and left hand drive (how stupid :S) then a new law passed here where only right hand drive was allowed. I was lucky that the ute is right hand drive. I only drive it for a day after I bought it. lets hope the fuel economy will always stay as good as it is.

I couldnt leave australia without my xr6-t. im a new member but I will post some pics of my ride very soon ← ... and your bloody location ← a little place called cyprus my friend. u will spot it with a magnifying glass if u look carefully on the map :D . its the only XR6-T Ute in the whole country which is why I wanted to bring it over.

the first day I got my BF XR6 Ute I did 580kms then the tank light came on. I was damn impressed. now its in a container getting shipped out to me.. ill see how it goes on second tank of petrol
