  2. My job here is complete then.
  3. Whewwww. Made it........... Much longer time since last post. Some years back a very kind Mod made alterations to my details resulting in a subtraction of some 40 years from my actual age. So, yesterday Mack turned 65....Yes you heard it correctly. 65 & still on top of the grass. So hello out there in XR6T land to any of the originals & other oldies who might recall a vintage member.
  4. Yes, cripes all right.

  10. Got the Macka arse into a G6ET yesterday.....How great it was. Unfortunatly it was my sons and it was only to taxi the Grandies to my joint for a sleepover. Still good though, had forgotten that rush when accelerating up the join lane onto the Gateway, Grandies going "go fast poppa" SWMBO going "I knew you were going to do that" :sungum: Sons project car, (Merc 190 E) after many false starts has hit a new stage. Is now back on the ground, soon to go to "the man who does such things" for fitment of a Toyota 5l V12. Ya get that...... Missing owning a T but.....
  11. Sorry blokes, gotta head to Sydney on the 5.30 am flight Friday. Struth & Fark. Happy chewing & chuging and maybe see someone again in 2012. Macka.
  12. I'm in but only one of me. (SWMBO in Sydney) I'm also the desi driver & early stump puller so anyone on the Northside (Round Asply etc)who wants a lift in the Korean Express (No really..)Give me a call on 0448 884 894. (I answer as Trevor) Cheers Mack.
  13. Hmmm.. Take the badges off and I reckon most motor heads would still pick it for a Toymota but. Or a Thai Holden............. Does that say something?

  18. Big sleep, short sleep. It dont matter to me, I'm always a cranky old man these days. Farkin had enough of self centered half-wit pi-ssants who think secret society style is the new kid on the management block. Speaking (or typing) whats on my mind & emails gunna make Macka not too popular methinks. Anyone looking for an older sales type that operates in the millenium of truth & credibility?
  19. China. Be very frightened. I work for a Chinese company. They are Globally the biggest in their industry. Do a bit of research and check out what is owned in Oz by Chinese interests, including state owned industries: Coal, Iron ore, Bauxite, Nickel/Lead/Zinc, Copper, Smelters for these products. CSG, CNG, Beef, Land, Sugar, Food crops, Water rights!! FFS. China. They are just about at their limits in arable & agricultural land. Sure, they still have plenty of their own coal (We supply them about 4% of their total use) but they are slowly buying into every other country where there is ubundant natural wealth. Bet they own a significant water resource inside ten years. Ask yourself why. China. Big & getting bigger.
  20. Isn't a bus one of those Korean SUV's or the like?
  21. They dont publish it now (Because it detracts from Gubment ideology) but about 4 or so years ago, Qld transport issued an annual report on statistics involving fatal crashes. These stats were a collaborative effort put together from Police investigative data, Main roads, etc etc. I cant remember the exact figures but speed alone was well down the list. Number one was inattention. Locations were also considered and Rural areas came in first. I'm sure this research is probably still done but now locked away in dark corners. Anyone else ever see it?
  22. Plus 1 for the old fart.... Depending on She-cumstancers of course.
  23. So, Kellyville Ridge is Corzza territory. Not a bad side of town. Got a few Relo's and a couple of mates doin the underground gardening thing up on the hill there. Born in the Riverstone actually so did a bit of stuff around the area. Actually, made me think of the old Amaroo Park so I did a google and you can still make out the shape of the circuit. Watched some mega racing there a few time did Macka.
  24. There's a real simple argument to use with people who support these whacked-up propositions like " we'll keep up this policy because we know it works in reducing speeding etc etc" I usually trot out the line something like "Well, if it stops people from speeding, how come the revenue from camera's continues to increase?" Usually met with blank stare answers.
