  1. So Steve can now brag he had the fastest Falcon there out of you guys, probably the least amount of mods and most k's on the clock! Well done to all of you guys for going and competing!
  2. Sounds like things are going well for you guys down there, though no word from Steve if he has gone faster than in previous RW??? Feel free to post up some pics/vids for the poor soles who couldn't make it down there please. Drive safely boys!
  3. Some good pictures there mate. It was a good turn out and good to get my ride out of the garage for a run around!
  4. Thanks for the advice gents! Looks like the kids are going to lose a pool toy. Actually took it for a drive last night and did one in my garage for the kids. It just clocked up 52k now!
  5. Hey all, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying, as things get older they start to sag. And that's the problem with my '06 Falcon front bumper. I noticed some time ago that it was starting to drop and the more I look at it the worse it looks. I had a search for fixes, but was unable to locate one. So has anybody dealt with this problem or any ideas on fixes would be grately appreciated. TIA Brendan
  6. Thought I'd pass on a little info for the gents out that still have B series. I went for a spin on my friends private road last night and forgot to shut my bonnet properly, I can confirm that it doesn't fly up at 140. I didn't realise until I can home to put it back on the battery charger. Thank f*ck it didn't fly up!!!
  7. Looks like it was a good turn out. Just a sprain for my boy so all is good here.
  8. Sorry boys but I'm off to the docs, son got hurt at footy..
  9. And what is wrong with having a car sitting around in a garage gathering dust and only gets driven when its not raining, its not too hot, not if the route has road works on it..........
  10. Yeah I'm still keen to turn up and learn a few things and have a go at my fuel filter. Wont be until nearly lunch time as I coach my sons footy team. And if its raining or looks like its going to rain = will not be there. sorry.
  11. All I see at the moment is money clouds with this weather. The more it rains and stronger the wind, the busier we are at work, the more o/t we can do.
  12. I was insured with the RAC for years with no mods listed and payed a fair amount of coin for agreed value. Took the advice from someone on the AL forum and sussed out Shannons. Ended up with all mods listed, payed $200 less a year and insured for about 5k more. I had to take it in for an appraisal, but was passed with no dramas. I recommend Shannnons
  13. Us B series guys got to stick together Steve. We can always get Mike on board then at least we would have 3 B series but with only 1 painted though......
  14. Yeah the inline one under the car. Apparently its not that hard to do, but with the lack of a decent trolley jack, its hard to get under the car to do it..
  15. Yeah I wouldn't mind heading down for this. I need to clean out my fuel filter and as I haven't done one before, Simon changed all the fittings when I went to the E85 but I'd prefer to be around people who know what they are doing in case I f*ck something. It will be good to take the car out as long as its not raining........ Keep me in the loop please.
  16. You guys missed out on a good cruise. Heaps of the normal skylines and silvia's as expected, but there was a strong showing from the Turbo Falcons and hardly any commonwhores. One particular primer coloured falcon had exceptional poor traction control at numerous corners, but I'll keep the old cruise controller identity quiet.....
  17. Weather looks good for a drive tonight that's for sure. I will be attending it for a change.
  18. Anybody from here going to that cruise tonight?
  19. Simon at Xtreme Ford Tuning in Midvale gets my thumbs up. He has done alot R&R on these cars and has the runs on the board. Also a site sponsor.
  20. Yeah not cool to hear that Steve. Any idea of what happened like mechanical failure, driver lost control? Hope they are ok!
  21. Yeah really wanted to catch up with you guys and go for a squirt, but it was family day out. Thought I'd compromise and take the car out with the family! It might be a while before I can convince the Mrs to come out it in it again for a while, she doesn't like the "spirited" driving at all. On the other hand, my boys love it and want me to do skids all the time. Maybe next time now that its back on the road with a new flex plate.
  22. Pretty sure I saw you guys parked up along the coast near freo. I went to do a skid past you guys but left the traction control on and failed......:(
  23. I was hoping someone here would have a few engine bay pictures with the 4 into 4 Process West shinny airbox they wouldn't mind sharing. I have the black Nizpro one atm and having some shinny bits already under the hood, I thought this might be the go. Their website pics aren't the best and I don't know if I like the whole silicon hose look either... So if anybody has some pics, please post them up. Cheers
  24. All of December is a major no go for me also :( Would probably need to bring jerry cans anyway the way it chews fuel now.
