The only sure way to answer that is for you to go drive both cars... But if it were me I would go for the BF with the ZF... Oh that's right I did http://www.flickr.com/photos/mowog/377217594/ I also have an SY Territory AWD with the ZF and it is just an awsome gearbox.

Me too... Its one of the reasons I didnt buy an F6... Seems silly that FPV wont use Seduce...

I was in the same situation late last year. I like a few extras in my cars and when I did the numbers the F6 kept jumping out of the budget. I ended up ordering an 07 XR6T Auto Ute with a Luxury Pack and passanger airbag plus a few extra dealer fit items. and F6 to the same spec was another $10k. My car wont be modified and I wasnt looking for "THE" power factor I think a well optioned XR6T is good choice.

I use to work in a Expensive Daewoo Dealer last Century in the time of the HX-HZ. A customer had just dropped off their Kingswood for a service. Both driver side doors were open... As the customer was walking out the front the Dealer Principle drove thru the service area and hit both open doors... (Yup he was drunk at 8 in the morning) We were sent to get 2 doors and a front guard from a car in stock that was the same colour. The car went to a panel beater and had the door supports fixed and was back in time that afternoon for the customer to pickup. The service wasnt done but she was charged for it and the book was stamped. Her comment on picking the car up. "How lovely you washed my car"

I use my Aircon all year its never off. I have never had a car with an Aircon smell. I am also a non smoker... One of my cars I owned for 11 years and even it didnt have aircon smells

It is a great gearbox my only experiance so far is in my Territory and a quick test drive in a Turbo Ute. Its gearboxes like this that will seen an end to the need for manuals :tosser: That comments is sure to cause some trouble...

Nobody is restricting your Free Speach as far as I can see all your posts on this topic are still there. Build a Bridge over that. You are the one being defensive... I am just being the Devils advocate. Buying a car this way is a legal mine field. I dont think saving a couple of grand is worth the risk that both you and the Ford employee face.

I would not let anyone other than family drive a car registered to me for the time frame you are talking about. Ethics aside I am sure there are some laws against what you are asking. I saved $10k buying an 05 Plate SY Territory in 06...

Ethics? Mate if you tried hard you could get a discount pretty close to employee discounts. Look for an 06 Plate demo early in the new year or even a new 06 plate car in 07. I saved over $5k on a factory order car, cars in stock I could have saved even more. Shopping for deal is fun get 3 or 4 dealers involved and go for it.

Lucky bugga I will have my Indiana Territory and the XR6T ute in Seduce The Turbo Ute was one of those deals that married couples make. I will stop talking about buying a Turbo Territory if I can buy a Turbo Ute I have to wait until Feb 2007 for mine

I have a Seduce XR6 Turbo ute on the way. I havent seen Flare on a car and I wouldnt order a colour based on a photo. Octane being a good example. In pic's it looks good. But on a car at the dealers it looks like a faded yellow cab..

Same engine and gearbox as the F6... Makes sense for Ford to do this as reduces the cost per unit. So those extra F6 features on the FPV site for the engine well there not really extras just the standard Turbo engine.

I have driven a modded Turbo Ute. It belongs to a crazy mate. It is very impressive... He has a goal of 400kw at the wheels me I just want a nice car that has a bit of getup and go. It will at least be quicker than my Territory... And my soon to be sold Corolla Sportivo

I wanted the Luxury Pack and a passanger airbag nobody had one. I had to wait until Dec for the factory bluetooth. Mod's I dont know if I will do any mods they are a quick car as they come...
