Could always be that I guess! Phoontastic may be able to compare the Gentech dyno to others, he has been on it as well.

Well done mate. I got 373rwkw at 15psi, drops to 365rwkw 15psi in summer though. And that is peak 15psi over many, many runs with same zorst,

100% agree with Max. Once you start you can't stop but it's bloody good fun. I drive my car daily, kids in back etc and love it. As I said maybe just hold off a bit and go see Kit and the boys. I can assure you that you will have no regrets, they have done a stack of I6's and myn has been pumping along 12+ months without an issue (touch my forehead as I say that!). Dave

For sure mate. I have never heard a bad thing about Ultimate Tunes and I tracked an 05 WRX for a while with NSW rex club and heaps of blokes used them. Look forward to hearing some sweat results soon! You'll love it!

Mate I use Gentech personally. Kit is very thorough with his work and after sales service has been great. Last dyno day the ESP XR knocked out massive numbers. If $$$$ are the driving issue perhaps just hold off. I considered heading to Sydney for possible cheaper deals but not much good when living down here if I have an issue (too busy to go back and forth). Worth the wait either way, both will be good. 373rwkw winter, 365rwkw over 3 back to back runs in summer. Conservative 15psi, X Force 3.5 split dump, twin 2.5" to rear. Quiet as, all plumbing black, appears to be stock, just deeper idle. As I said, could have gone bigger exhaust for more power but would have been harder on box / drivetrain etc and myn is daily driver. Used day in day out, -7 to 45 degrees. Not a single issue to date. Ran for 10 months with just in tank pump but never let run under half a tank. Now has PW surge and second walbro. Need some ear protectors this year at the dyno day for the little fella.

I agree, call around first. It seems like russian roulette to me. I was with AAMI pre modding, contacted Shannons, got Nizpro 2+ fitted and changed over. Policy went down $180/yr and excess from $600 to $500. Atop of this I got agreed value 3k more. I have no idea how this happened but I did organise everything at the All Ford Day in Canberra at the Shannons stand.

I went for the X Force 3.5 split dump, twin 2.5 as there were issues with the Nizpro exhaust at the time. 15psi, 373rwkw. Looks are drives like normal, no drone and nil attention at all. Was explained to me bigger exhaust, more noise, more wear on car etc (approx 390+rwkw), myn is a daily, 12 months+ on and not 1 issue (touch wood). Not sure how much power you want but it is more than enough to cover a pole in XR6T wrapping paper!

Here comes the junk list; 1. LH Torana - 179 triple SU's 2. RX2 12a extend port 3. RX4 coupe 13B ext bridgeport 4. Falcon Ute 351, 13inch dragways! 5. 1994 Suzuki GTi 6. S2 RX7 7. Datto 1600 8. 240 Volvo (while os) 9. Ford Telstar 10. Datsun Sunny wagon 11. Hyundai excel 12. ED Falcon 13. S14 200SX 180rwkw 14. 1968 Morris Mk 1 Cooper S (should have kept it 3rd owner, original plates / books sold 20k) 15. Magna (FHRX comp stereo) 16. Nissan X Trail T30 17. 2004 WRX XB MRT kit 18. another X Trail 19. Mazda 323 runabout 20. BF XR6T 373rwkw Could have missed a couple. XR6 biggest money pit but most fun (although the RX4 was stupid loud and shook like a mother f**ker idling at the lights!!!) Determined to just keep the XR6 now, too far gone already, may as well keep going.

I've got it, you will be stoked.

Mate I have a Nizpro 2+, surge tank etc, everything listed with Shannons, no issues at all.

Well just finished watching 127 hrs. Was interesting to google Aron Ralston and actually see real footage of the poor bugger stuck. That's some serious will to live getting rid of your own arm to get out. Not taking anything away from old mate but just goes to show if you just have a plan and tell someone where your going it really does save a whole lot of BS!

Got the Viper 400 Sunburst with Seymour Duncans. I actually wanted a guitar for metal mostly and with EMG's but the Duncan p/ups seemed more versatile. Also it is a Korean vs Indo build and the neck was heaps better to play. See how it goes, it is way better than my ability that is for sure.

Well I've cut down from 3 to 2. The XR uses a bit of juice but to be honest it is worth the fun driving it to work. It's funny, I have always been useless with cars, had 24 in the past. I am keeping this taxi though, own it, haven't had a loan for 5 yrs. When it pops I'll do the motor, more power, kind of like a new car again. If I traded and upgraded I'd be spending 20+k just to be back at square 1. That's how I am pitching the next atomic motor to my Mrs anyway!

Yep, should have done a trade (but my 370+ rwkw turbo taxi does the job)
