Oh well, had a quick look at it last night and looks as though it has snapped away from the cable release part. Booked it in for tomorrow for Ford to take a look at it. Getting them to look at the stereo as well. The button on the dash to change up and down tracks pops out depending on what angle you push it. This is pretty sad in my opinion. This is the first car I have ever owned that has a plastic bonnet release. All other cars have been a solid steel / metal unit. It's a shame they cut corners to make a profit instead of building a qualty product. My Warranty runs out in Oct. Does anyone know if it is too late too extend it? I can see more things like this happening in the future...

Hey Guys, Just took a mate from work for a quick drive in my ute. Went to pop the bonnet and the release under the dash poped out and wont work. Didnt have time to play with it as I had to get back to work. Has this happened to anyone? Is there a quick fix?. It is still under warranty so I can take it back to the dealer if it is a major problem. Thanks

I heard that some of the rounds will be on TV late that night instead of Live. This is due to Channel 7's contract to show the AFL Games on a Sunday Arvo. I am a bit worried about this. If it is true it will suck big time. I think the presenters will be Neil Crompton in the Booth. Grant Denyer and Mark Barretta in the pits. Plus some other guy from 7 in Canberra. Only time will tell...

Oh Well think of it this way. Hopefully you have learned a valuable lesson here and wont drive so close to the car in front. Might have saved you from having an even bigger accident in the future. Everything happens for a reason.... I try to leave as bigger distance as possible to be safe. But the minute you do that in Sydney traffic some *beep* merges over into it

Hey Guys, Just wondering if the FPV Cooler will bolt straight into an XR6T without any mucking around? Or is there a similar aftermarket one that is a bit more efficient than the stocker. I just want onme that will bolt straight in. Thanks

I lost my licence for a year when I was about 18 or 19. Neg driving and dangerous driving. Really sucked although I had a few mates that drove me around during that year. Been really careful ever since. Been about 10 years and not 1 speeding fine. Just lucky I guess touch wood....

Nah they wont be allowed in. In fact I think the race has a $125K prioce limit to keep out the Ferraris and Lambo's etc. Should be a bloddy ball tearer!!

Have driven mine with no cover at all. Had plenty of traction although it has new tyres so it is holding on like a mountain goat. Turning corners is a different story
