He took me for a quick spin & it was ordinary as. He said it makes about 240-250kw at the wheels. I reckon the trans was slipping heaps though or maybe I'm just used to a manual.

I meet this guy a couple of months ago cruising on the Semaphore esplanade. We got talking & he popped his bonnet & showed me his supercharge setup. Just curious to know if anyone out there knows if many N/A owners are going down this path?

My first car was a Falcon sedan then I upgraded to VK wagon then followed a VS Late model camira Clubsport replica then lastly to my ultimate car so far my BF MK2 Turbo.

I was told by the tuner that the drop off in the curve was due to something with the plenum but I'm new to this game so he could have told me anything.

A couple of weeks ago I got my mods done these being Bosch hi flow injectors, 3.5 inch stainless exhaust, ram pod and edit. Stock it made 180rwkw(tad over 7000kms). With the mods but no edit it made 220rwkw and with the edit she got up to 263rwkw running 10psi boost. I'm stoked with it so far and now It's a totally different car compared to stock. Maybe I was being unrealistic for hoping for 300rwkw with only those mods. Please can someone give me some constructive feedback.

I'm from S.A as well and I'm starting notice alot of people are going stripy. Wonder how much more rwkw you get with them.

I'm going to THR today so I'll query the specs on the exhaust. Don't care what anyone thinks about the Neo colour I like it people come up to me at the servo when I fill up and they love it. If Justin Timberlake can bring sexy back well Ford can bring Blueprint back as wellI've canned the valve springs to save money as well .

I probably got mt exhaust diameters muddled up as for the valve springs I might be getting a bit ahead of myself but my cash isn't going to last for ever so I'm preparing for future mods. Just starting to get used to the car after 3 weeks and it still impresses me. It's silenced quite a few of my mates in the passenger seat. now they understand what all the hoo haa is all about. I still rarely turn on the stereo the turbo spool, the Porsche Carrera sound I reckon my motor sounds like when I'm being spirited and the soft bov sound is plenty music for me.

I finally got my car at the end of December. Sorry I've been slack posting the pics of her but I've had trouble logging into the site. I just had the boost and oil pressure gauges installed and Wednesday it goes to THR Motorsport here in Adelaide for a cai, edit, injectors, 3.5" exhaust with a 3" dump and valve springs. I love the car now when I get back next week I'll love it even more.

Finally got the call from the Ford dealer that I've been waiting for my car arrived yesterday morning so I went to have a look and get some pics with my phone. Very happy now with Neo. I go pick it up at 4 today and I'm starting to get nervous.

Thanks for the pics Iconic. Now I'm full happy with my decision I reckon it looks similar to blueprint my self but still an awesome colour. If my car is going to be any later than next Monday I will not be happy. Whats the suggested amount of time I should have of work to do some serious shakedown Cruising?

I get my BF Mk2 T in 9 days(still so far away). Any way has anyone got a BF XR6T in Neo with pics they can send me. I picked the colour out of the catalouge and I need to get a real feel for the colour I know it's to late to change just need some pics to reassure my judgement thanks.

Well in regards to the BFMk2 XR6T what would all you in the know consider to be a real sore point that should be modded asap. Bearing in mind it might it will take me maybe a month to settle into my BFXR6 T 6 speed manual. My last decent car was a VS Executive so anything after that is a race car to me. Basically I want to gaet to know the XR6T well before I make big mod decisions.

So with larger injectors aside do many agree with a a logical systematical approach to mods in a specific order to get a beginner going or is it more each to his own.

I'm sick and tired of seeing these wank V8 Late model camira drivers thinking their invincible with their pretty fwkw badges adorning their car. In 2 weeks when I get my BFMk2 Turb my revenge will begin. Haven't even got my wheels yet and the mod bug has bitten me. Thanks for the advice you all have given to give me a start and keep it coming please. On the 25th I finally get to join the XR6T brotherhood.

Since I'm still waiting for my car and haven't had a good drive of a Xr6T what are they like to drive stock.

I'm getting the 6 speed manual. I test drove the auto but just had enough of them. The car should be in Fords production line up Monday ready for building so get no pics yet but when I get it I'll post them. Could spend more than $5000 got to put my new babies street cred beyond doubt.

Would that be all covered in $5000?

I'm new to the turbo game but I've just recently bought a BFMk2 Turbo in Neo optioned up to 18's. Just going through the long wait to the 25th of November for delivery. Any way just sold my house got spare cash and I'd just like to know of some mods that I can get done first to burn up $5000 that I,ve earmarked.
