  1. I had a coolant flush with a new overflow bottle and cap from repco for my FG. Straight after it everytime I stopped it would dump the coolant out the overflow. Tried a new OEM cap and bottle same and then another cap same issue. Mechanic said I had a head gasket. I put the old cap back on and fixed. That was 7 years ago and for the last 2 years its had 470rwkw at 25 psi..

  2. You can't get the factory caps new any more (or at least supply hasn't been available for around 6 months). I've got an aftermarket cap and overflow without any issues.

  4. Heat affects the coolant header tank and the turbo oil return. A turbo beanie will sort out the header tank issue and you'll need to use heat shielding over the oil return pipe. If you are taking the manifold off you should replace all of the fasteners with studs. The barra heads strip very easily and in some cases will strip a thread just by undoing a bolt. I haven't had any issues with weight hanging off the head. Get 2 O2 fittings welded to the dump so you can run your nbO2 all the time and fit a wbO2 when needed. A 2 piece dump makes life a lot easier for fabbing, install and removal down the track. If you decide on running a custom 4 inch exhaust, make sure to use 1 muffler at a bare minimum, straight through is miles too loud.

  5. Bought some "fancy" whisky glasses for the groomsmen this week, should be arriving next week. I like the box more than the glass lol. I'll be getting stuff etched into the glass hence why I chose this specific version from the supplier. I believe these are hand-made glasses too, which is pretty neat I 'spose
