  1. https://imgur.com/gallery/bm4YFmd Hopefully the link to the dyno works for you guys. Yes has stock head and cams apart from oversize vales and upgraded springs , stock crank also . Other mods oil pump , timing chain ,girdle ,rods and pistons etc only driven it today but so far very responsive.

  2. So after almost a 3 year hiatus I'm back with some turbo barra fun. So join me on resisting the urge to not go silly with it. A very stock 08 Turbo Territory Ghia, Picked it with 250000kms and first thing to do is give it a full once over. Had it on the weighbridge and came in at 2.26T but surprisingly spritely. Fresh thermostat in as the bypass had failed and coolant wouldn't go above 80. Flush oil is in and next is a proper service, Zf Service, Transfer case and both Diff Oils. Also probably in need of a good detail. Only issues I've noted as the front end seems to clunk over bumps so I'm assuming I'm due for some fresh upper and lower control arms. Rear bump stops are looking quiet ratty and new ones on the way. But the absolute most annoying thing was on the drive home after buying it, The bonnet scoop liner blew off on the highway and supposedly ford don't supply them anymore. No wreckers seem to have them so that's great. The most I plan on is some injectors and a fuel pump and E85 as there is a servo right near me. I always thought the G6 was a barge but this things on another level. Anyway enjoy some pics

  3. Haha fark me I forgot I even bought that tool above, I'd better attach something tomorrow lol. Any whoozle, onto my latest purchase...I took me beer cans up to the recycle yard yesterday and noticed a medium giant compressor in the yard. I asked how much he wanted and it was 30c per kg. I told him I'd pick it up today and $80 later this beauty was mine! It just needs a motor, apparently it works fine otherwise. Before I get asked, it ain't getting turned into a turbo burn barrel, although I am pretty damn tempted lol. I wanted a bigger compressor for the shed and this is what I've got.

  4. Not needed if you're using stock heat shield. It won't make your turbo perform better. Heat management is a massive reliability issue when you deviate from the stock hot side, so it's good you're thinking about it

  5. Remove the dump pipe and have a look at the back of the turbo to see if anything is awry. There is a clip that holds the actuator rod to the wg arm, remove it and you'll be able to see if the wg flap can open and close properly.

  7. Plugged in a gauge to check fuel pressure, have got 10psi and won't go higher even when I block the return. Looks like the tank is coming out again tomorrow.
