About time to dust off the turbo cobwebs for our proposed Snowy Cruise later this year over Friday 18 - Sunday 20 November 2022 with add on day Mt Hotham on Monday 21 November 2022 for those interested. Check out past threads for all the fun and good yaks we had Those dates avoid cycling and aircraft events in Tumut and Jindabyne areas on 5 November and 11 November. More details to come but it will be pretty much same route as previous Snowy Cruises. Friday 18 November - Tumut Saturday 19 November - Jindabyne Sunday 20 November (for those interested) - Omeo Accomodation: Friday 18 November - Tumut (book accomodation at Oriental Hotel $95 - right next to pub fully refundable up to day before) (so driving to Tumut from your home on the Friday) Saturday 19 November - Jindabyne (book Alpine Gables $147 - pub on site and half refundable up to 20 Oct) (driving from Tumut to Jindy on the Saturday) Sunday 20 November (for those interested) - Omeo (book Golden Age - pub on-site but will check if they are opened first and find out pricing) (driving from Jindy either home on Sunday or driving to Omeo to stay in Omeo on Sunday night) Monday 21 November (driving from Omeo to home on the Monday) New this cruise is will be up to you to look out for your fellow cruise members - should you test positive or not feel good, please think of your fellow members and do the right thing Cruise list 1. Nah what you gotta do is drive across the nullabor into the sun, towing a trailer in an overheating vt olden with no aircon, wearing a long sleeve shirt and a hat over half your face so you don't get sunburnt, then getting bogged on the side of the road at midnight when you finish crossing.
