Alrighty so got the ute re tuned with the new haltech and injectors. Had a problem with the original haltech and had to get it sent off to be repaired under warranty, what are the odds eh. I had Jamie at Forced Performance work on the final tune. It made 535kw and 970nm at only 20psi. Super happy with it now. Jamie was able to sort out a few of the gremlins I was having and put in a rotory switch to adjust boost on the fly. Picked up a new IC7 Dash which is a really cool bit of kit. Thinking either my clutch or stock tailshaft will be the next thing to break haha
Will post up some pics soon, stay posted.
that's a serious amount of work into those wheel hey and the results speak for themselves wow... These guys are kind close to me so I might give them a buzz and see what they say.
4k will get you a good intercooler, a 3582/gt35r turbo and injectors, you will still need fuel pump, valve springs, high flow cat, k and n panel in stock airbox, fuel regulator and a tune at a minimum. Maybe 6 or 7 k will get you to 350rwkw. You dont need a turbo side intake or exhaust, just a high flow cat I reckon. I did put òn a 4inch dump and it did unleash it.
@FREAKY why have you gone backwards in the power department?
I would Highly recommend finding a Tuner that uses PCMtec. Apparently the SCT stuff hasn't been updated in years, yet PCMtec is still being developed here in Australia specifically for the barras. And now you can have up to 4 different Maps pre-loaded into the factory PCM that you can change between while driving.
IMO the SCT and HP tuners is outdated and a waste of money for a hand-controller considering what the PCMtec can do.
