  3. Had a chippy out to the house today...and my entrance way and study went from looking like this: To looking like this: All ready for the painters to start on Monday now Not a totally perfect solution, but a hell of a lot better than it was! Also had a door frame put in to the hallway. Door can wait till later, as we don't really need it right now but wanted the frame up and painted with the rest of the house at least. Plus, I don't really have the money for the door atm as it'll need to be like a $500-600 custom door due to the size. Houses are expensive...weeeeee

  4. Thanks to everybody for the advice and links. Didn't bother to unstick them haha. Here's the front caliper failure (I'd already attempted to get the left piston out to re-seal it hence the horrible looking dust boot) -> and the rear one that failed... -> The pads from that rear caliper failure :( The new calipers and pads finally in place

  5. lol, you're not wrong Freaky! Yep, BCB! Plasterboard stuck to the existing frame and glass with liquid nails. Chippy tidied up the door frame heaps compared to what it was too, which is great. Would have cost me a few grand to knock the bricks out and put a proper stud wall up...just couldn't justify it, and probably would have looked weird anyway, given the door frame would have then been narrower than the walls. So this is a way of getting rid of the glass bricks and tidying it all up a bit, without spending a fortune to achieve a result that'll still be less than perfect for a different reason. Either way, see how it turns out once it's all painted next week!

  6. Yeh it tried the ign cut shift haven't used it at the drags yet but this issues I'm having at moment is it won't even grab properly when letting it off the 2step. It leaves the line on 10psi at 3800rpm which is ~500hp and it just won't grab and hold takes past the 60ft before it gets heat in it from slipping and grabs hold. The rpm trace on the data logged shows it like 4 gear changes. After the drags the other week it can't even hold 4th gear roll on now just slips and it's done 500km since a full rebuild the week before racewars. It's seriously getting to me now spending heaps of money and time making sure it's all done right and it still does this sh*t if I can't fix it soon it I'll have to do the thing I really don't want to do a put a auto in it.

  9. exactamundo, plus less pad material = more heat transfer to the piston/boot/seals and resulting in the above. There a reason why a "worn out" pad still has 3 to 5mm or material left.

  10. Everyone says they don't mind dust until they actually rock a set of dusty pads there's no need for excessively dusty pads these days with the choice and performance from the Pmu range that is super low to no dust just sayn
