Yeah she's going to cop a hiding when it's tuned. She's pushing 310k now but half the reason I went something bigger is because a comp test came up perfect at 170psi~5 Not sure if it's had a freshen up previously or these motors are just that good if looked after2 points

The stock tune doesn't take a spot - the xCal has the ability/function to return the tune to stock. Best fuel efficiency and best performance are usually the same thing - efficiency is subject to the right foot Most people would go for a full power tune and a "concierge" tune - one that limits the revs to ~3k or so (so you can let someone else drive the car, but they can't abuse it) The third tune is up to you - some people would get a 95RON petrol tune for safety in case they can't get Premium 98 fuel for some reason (don't run a lesser rated fuel than what the car was tuned for). This tune would be down on power a fair bit, but safer for when running on dodgy fuel. Either way - 99% of people flash the car with their main tune and never look at the other ones.2 points

Thanks 20pounds, initially I didn't re-flash it, it shifted strange 2-3 and flared slightly into 4th... 4th came good after about 300km and 2-3 shift came good around 750km.. I did re-flash the TCM a couple of times throughout the process but that was just to help the adaptive memory, as I assume it was correcting for the massive loss of friction material before the build, the two overdrive packs were 4mm and 5mm over the recommended clearance from memory I also ordered my Gibson 1000hp shaft, I have decided to just run what he recommended with the two uni's, the Porsche cv is going to be expensive to fit and also replace if it ever come to it, where a uni is cheap and easy to replace.. Chris also said since he has bought his new automatic balancer and people have been taking the time to shim the centre bearing correctly it has been 100% positive feedback, so we'll see how it goes Thanks Joe2 points

Looking good mate.... Just finished my 2nd built motor and pumped to lean on it deluxe over the next few weeks.. Did you use Micks Fire rings as well?1 point

Yeah I was only sh*t stirring... Over filling and hitting the crank is more of problem as it can become aerated, and then you lose oil pressure cause oil pump doesn't like pumping air...1 point

Its a TTG so 10L aint that much. Bent crank?? no way.. IF you had the hp you might crack the sump or block. When I was a mechanic back in my hey days you wouldnt believe how many people actually filled there engines to the rocker cover... Women AND men.. Seen it all... brake fluid in radiators engine oil in window washer coolant in window washers engine oil in gearboxes that one happened plenty of times but the best ones were petrol in diesel engines or diesel in petrol engines.1 point

when you say the brackets swap over for the 4 pots, do you mean you use the BA/BF brackets on the FG? or you have to source FG brackets?1 point

I bought my car in Mackay and drove it to Cairns, it had been serviced in Mackay the week before, when I got it home I checked the oil. I totally freaked out, I couldn't see any oil on the dipstick, realized that the oil was so clean I could hardly see it. Or maybe I'm just a blind old bastard.1 point

Meth will help you lose weight and its also competitive. You see how many imaginary bugs you can pick from your skin in one hour then repeat again and again to beat your record for the next 5 to 6 days. Better then the soup mate. Sure to lose 10kgs+ in a week. May have to steal heaps of stuff to stay on this diet but even if you get caught you will never get fat on prison food. Lots of cardio to in prison trying to protect your ass. Lol1 point

Ok, 12 weeks Optifast intensive phase complete. Before I started Optifast I weighed 121kg at Christmas. I started Optifast mid March and weighed 115kg. This morning, at the end of the 12 weeks I weigh 80.5kg. So I've lost 34.5kg in the 12 weeks and 40.5kg overall since my heaviest. Here's before and after photos.1 point

You crack me up gunna Our customer went 11.65@119 with 307rwkw on 98 fuel in a FG ute two weeks ago at a street meet at AIR ZF auto No HDI cooler though1 point

a smaller turbo generates more heat for the same power level, should be able to run 11's with 3001 point

Because airtemps will rise and cost you HP, especially if the turbo is on it's limit.1 point

As mentioned depends on back to back runs and although you said this was the 32nd run doesn't mean it wasn't cooled down before final run. Also I think it says 22 degree ambient temp on that graph so the car was tuned in cooler weather. On a 35 degree day is when you will really notice it. It clearly made a great number and good for the price, but when you're spending up to make power you don't want to really lose 30+kw from heatsoak because you cheaped out on the cooler That drag car would have been on meth so very very different to running a street car on 981 point
