Hey guys recently left my car with joe and the team at cms to say I'm impressed is an understatement the guys did an absolutely amazing job and customer service is second to none. Car had the following fitted: * turbo back exhaust system * 1000cc injectors kpm * kpm streetfighter 1000hp intank twin fuel pump set up * valve springs and retainers * process west stage 1 intercooler kit * plazmaman turbo side intake and battery relo * turbosmart Bov * gtx 35/82r turbo * pwr heat exchanger for ZF gearbox * colder thermostat * ZF service * oil feed line * custom tune for both 98 and e85 On 98 it made 403rwkw and on e85 490rwkw the car feels totally different to drive and joe set the 98 tune to the more conservative side of things fuel economy on 98 is better then standard and the car still maintains all it's drive ability. It's a lot of fun driving it around these days . Gonna have to start saving for a ZF build eventually. The hardest thing is containing urself not to hit the loud pedal everywhere you go. Ps turbo side intake is insane one of the best mods you can do in my opinion.6 points

FWIW Nizpro plate is also a ford plate, just has a reinforcing ring added to the centre section. Similar to this- http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/XR6-Turbo-F6-BF-FG-H-D-Reinforced-Flex-Plate-6-speed-Auto-/171627358007?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_15&hash=item27f5c9a737 Mick from Pitlane also sells his version so he might be worth a call.3 points

I think it's 21psi on e85 if I remember correctly and apparently there's still abit more left in the tune joe left is slightly rich coz the car was starting to run low on e85 in the tune and he was concerned about the fuel Being contaminated with 98 in the tank but he's gonna check it out shortly and make sure all is good . And yea will deffs get some pics up over the weekend for you guys to look at. And in regards to the PW stg 1 cooler joe said it's more then efficient enough and I don't notice any drop in power (although weather hasn't been to hot). And in addition to this after speaking to kev at process west he said that it's actually very difficult to split a stage 1 and stage 2 cooler for efficiency with no real difference in inlet air temps. Kev has a stage one cooler on his car and makes over 500rwkw no dramas.( and seeing as though id rather not cut the car if I could avoid it I saw this as the logical choice in cooler if I had to cut would of gone a stage 3). The fact that if I want more power if need a larger intercooler a built engine etc it keeps me more then satisfied with what I've got most of the time haah. Oh and sorry forgot to put down what model the car is it's an FG F6. Any one care to guess or give an estimate as to what it will go down the 1/4mile?2 points

Went to the "No Limits" night at Barbs yesterday to watch the g/f race around, and took a few photos of some of the other cars there. Steve, im sure you will love these ones, guy brought along his Camaro, supercharged 600rwhp, lambo doors, nice unit Some money getting around, Porsche GT3... although only posting the 14th fastest time Fastest car was a track RX7 2nd fastest was a GTR R35, only .2 of a second slower.... thing was a monster. Then a couple of R32's, a 370Z, loads of 86's.....Someone brought along a G6ET, had Nitto NT001 on it... anyone know it? and lastly, the Bridgestone RE002's I put on the car last week made a big difference apparently... still real keen to put them on mine. After 7 or so laps..2 points

Rob at Monsta Torque sorted me out with this setup this morning at a great price. Had a chat to him about my flex setup - may go to OEM ford.2 points

Mick, worth a crack speaking to Joe at JLC Auto Care, he's on Parkinson st/lane/rd (whatever it is) in O'Connor, right near House Of Power. He worked at ford for a bazillion years, I always took my cars to him for any general stuff. Definitely knows what he's doing (especially with fords) and is really well priced. Dan even drives all the way from Leederville to use him for a lot of things now haha.2 points

Hi guys, Not sure how many people here are familiar with the 'Nulon Nationals', it is a multi round motorsport event that puts car clubs up against each other where points are earned at each round to find a winner come the end of it all. There are 4 rounds this year, The first round has already been run at Sydney a Motorsport Park and was a Motorkhana event. Unfortunately the Ford team placed last in this event. Here is a video of round 1. Round 2 is going to be held at the Bulahdelah Hill Climb on the 28th of March and there is a very strong bunch of cars representing the Ford guys this time around. Round 2 team includes, Paul Noble in his circuit prepped daily driven FG XRT, fastest Circuit/Street Fg I'm aware of. Jim Cowdan in his GT40, Jim built this car himself, including making the full aluminium body. Brett Luland in his 'CANFRY' FG Gt with massive power. Andrew Bronier in his supercharged TS50 Adam Burgess in his RX7 race car, who drives a a Ford as a daily. Round 3 will be held at Wakefield Park in July I believe and the last round is going to be held at Cootamundra airport as a drag racing event. I figured I'd get a thread up about it, I'm sure there's a lot of track guys interested in following this like myself I'll try keep this thread up to date, but your best bet is to check it out on the Nulon Nationals Facebook page for all the pictures and videos. https://www.facebook.com/nulonnationals Here is the full video from last year. Plenty more on YouTube, http://youtu.be/wrDtH5oyYCs1 point

I think you will find the cut is hard on the input shaft as Ralph has suggested because of the way it shock loads the box. It varys so much in how aggressive it is, I've had a couple that have made me cringe.1 point

So Friday night we're going for a drive around the block to see what falls off. Situation at the moment is the last bolt in the manifold got done up & the new tyre is on. Battery is charged and shortly before the drive the fuel will be primed up again. Tyre is a stop gap til I can get some bushes done with an alignment but it will survive until I get some scratch together to splash on a set of rims Muffler is ridiculously close to the PS pump so for now some sticky foam, I'll probably get on the pipe with the heat gun to create an air pocket later. Little concerned about the crossover isolator too. Far too much misalignment. Again, it'll be ok for the weekend. Need to pickup the last cold side pipes & buy a few last silicon bends to finish the plumb. I've ripped the head off the dipstick by mistake so I'll need to sort something there, but interestingly the plumb back line fits nice between everything as shown in the image. Better than I expected actually.1 point

Cost me $800 at XFT supply and fit nizpro jobbie. I parked mine up very quickly after it rattled and it still egged the flex plate bolt holes.1 point

Neck broken again Ralph? Fluff you have the same problem as red cars. Absorbing all the highest energy level wavelengths of visible light. Solution? Dye it blue and it will last longer as it reflects the higher end of the spectrum. Hence Marge's hair never faded.1 point

Long post but hopefully some get something out of it. I went through a really tough time professionally about five years ago. I'm employed at a large Local Government. My work colleague stuck by me after a group of floggers decided they wanted our positions and concocted a disgraceful campaign to unseat us, including making false claims that I'd made inappropriate advances to our female admin officer. When that failed, unrealistic work targets were set over an extended period and other underhanded stuff employed straight out of the bullying handbook. I objected one day and was threatened with physical violence. It wore me down mentally and I had nearly four months off work. It nearly wrecked my marriage. My colleague and I fought really hard for justice and ultimately were rewarded with compensation via legal action but incredibly, the perpetrators remained in their jobs. When I returned to work I was determined to assist others so they weren't subjected to this type of behaviour and felt powerless to act. Whilst I was already a long term Union member, I became a workplace delegate. I lobbied hard with our HR department and one by one the perpetrators of my battles were made accountable for their actions as of course, they continued to act in the same way, against other staff. When they started to eat themselves, one of the main perpetrators actually approached me for help. I did actually coordinate the appropriate level of support but he had a brain fade one afternoon and was caught on camera threatening someone with physical violence - as he'd done to me previously, so was sacked. The manager concerned throughout this whole exercise did his very best to distance himself and in the end when it started to unravel, sold out the supervisors under him to save his own arse. He admitted to me one day in a lift that he'd got it wrong but said "it was easier to let them do what they were doing as it was only you and...so it came down to numbers". He then gave a smug smile and we got off the lift. As I've become more involved in higher level workplace reforms over the years including now working in a committee with the CEO, he has also called on me to assist him. I was nominated last week as workplace delegate of the year (state award) in recognition of my work. The manager concerned in my battles has just been shuffled sideways into another directorate. I was determined to outlast him and assist my colleagues and I've now achieved both. That makes me feel good1 point
