Relationships arnt that different to modded cars, both need regular maintainance and will give you trouble when you least expect it. No doubt it feels sh1tty right now , but be kind to yourself and your missus. It will get better.

Time has been scarce lately, but finally spent a few hours on the old bus this weekend. I put the engine in position, supported by blocks of wood, and after moving it many many times I finally have it in a position I am happy with. I have had to swap the sump pan for one from an earlier model Falcon (BA) which has the bowl at the front, as mine came with a rear bowl sump pan. But this did not present any real problems, my block even has the front dipstick position in the block with a bung fitted I did a check against my Mk2 (which is fitted with a Pinto 2.0) and the crankshaft centreline is 130mm LOWER on the 6 cylinder installation than the Mk2/Pinto The front axle and steering drag link will clear the sump pan on full bump compression, and the trans is fairly tight underneath, but overall it should work okay. A few pics as always. I have drawn up the trans mounts, and will get those laser cut next week, and also begin work on an engine crossmember, to which I will attach the engine mounts. Conrad

In the spirit of things they could not be left behind, had to covertly sneak them in to some establishments for some reason. Fck knows what happened to them in the end though. Most people that can afford a GT are middle aged. Most definitely those that could afford to purchase and rarely drive. At that age a 40 year investment in a car doesn't really make sense. Driving it and enjoying the hell out of it makes far more sense.

Turbo 6 has big mid range shove but the Bent 8 has extreme top end pull. Both are different but both are fun. The big 6 sounds like a vacuum cleaner at revs were the Bent 8 sounds awesome.

At the end of the day EA will be able to check to see if you were hacking and being that your not you haven't got anything to worry about. Attacking from the top is also going to take something else down quicker as the armor isn't as great, that's why the top attack rockets do more damage.

Yep gotta have the hockey stripes! Otherwise you may as well debadge and de wing the car...that would be sad. A GT should stamp its presence over the surrounding traffic. Especially a supercharged one.

I actually have tint on the car already, I had the dealer throw it in for free. Has octane from tint-a-car. I agree with the stripes, I've spent this much money on a GT so I like that the stripes make it stand out on the road and makes it easily recognisable for what it is. I actually saw a white GT drive past me yesterday that didn't have the stripes and it looked good...but I reckon there's more presence with the stripes tune will come, just not yet. In terms of lowering, I've got the Teins from my turbo I could put into it...but I think I'll hold off for a little bit, just wanna enjoy it it as it is for now.

Wow, going against a contract to save money. I don't know the full story but it's hard to see how it could be a simple slip up because there's a fine line between genuine and non genuine parts on a car that's just come off the Factory. A good salesman would ensure 100% that GT gets stripes from Ford. Unfortunately people have no pride today and don't give a sh*t about their job. The good thing is they are going to fix it and don't settle for anything but a perfect fit and finish this is a GT.

Can ppl post pics of how they blocked off BOV pipes on the manifold. I am looking for blanks to clamp onto the manifold but I can't find any in this goddamn small country town of mine. also Does it look dodge if I just left the rubber piping on took the BOV out and jammed plugs in the rubber pipe?
