^^^ This is why I always carry one of these in the boot Careful though, if you are running E85 the above is not recommended. They now cater for E85 fuel too, see below.4 points

Is the actual turbo horny? Or does it make everyone that hear it horny? If the latter I really need to buy one for the misses3 points

Thanks for the insight Bunna, but what a shame the gear behind the engine couldn't handle it hey. :( Get on to those runout FPV deals people, I'd have one of the last Miami GTs if I could afford it. Would complement my XR6T nicely.2 points

If you have the right hook ups and connections you can build an all day every day 600 rwks bottom end for under 5k.2 points

should get your number plates as (DARANCH) the ranch because that's where you keep all your horses. lol:D 1000hp that's a insane result.2 points

How about buying your car from nuford, but using Monsta Torque in Malaga for servicing? That way you'll have real skilled people putting their hands on your girl as they specialise in turbo fords. Just be carefull though, a true 500hp daily driver FG is only a credit card swipe away at places like that!2 points

^^ +1 It all depends on how you drive it and how much fun you have. I thought I would be getting better fuel economy after getting a tune done. I am pretty sure that the fuel economy is better, but I have been having waaaaay to much fun and my economy has gone from 13 up to 15l/100.1 point

The 6235 is a water cooled core which Precision weren't using previously so one would thing durability is increased over the traditional air cooled precision CHRA. The GTX wheel was designed with quietness in mind and that it is, the 6 blade Precision wheel a likely to perform ever so slightly better than a GTX35 despite the compressor and turbines being the same size. The GTX35 is the ultimate in reliability but the Precision may perform slightly better and will have a more horny turbo noise.1 point

Just before you do, it's a very common thing for the little fitting on the diff breather hose to clog. This then builds pressure in the diff & weeps from the seal. I've had mine cleaned & a oil change, haven't had an issue. This is a common problem for all diffs on all rwd cars. I would start there before you go pulling everything apart (yuk)1 point

Congratulations! I'm guessing with that power you're either 'just cruising' or exploding into an Armageddon of smoke and fury. The 200 to 300 dash would be interesting!1 point

Got my super pro comfort series outrigger diff bushes changed out for competition series ones today. Happily I noticed no difference in NVH :-) just goes to show that having my diff rebuild by people who know what they're doing worked a treat. I now have no clunks coming from my diff. My clutch however...well that's another story. It's booked in to get replaced by a mal wood option 3+ on the 16th. Hopefully then I'll be able to stop spending money on this bloody car for a while and just enjoy driving it!1 point

I bought my Typhoon from them, servicing wasn't too bad. Didn't have any horror stories, they were tough to get Loan cars out of though.1 point

Been a little while so thought I'd update again, the car made its way back to BYE after a bit of a break to figure out what the issue was at the drags, turns out the intake vernier cam shaft gear had slipped out of where it was set, causing a crank and cam trigger issue at high rpm under full load, the result being a loss of 40rwhp and not being able to rev over 5000rpm without serious power loss and popping and farting. Luckily for me it wasn't a really big issue and was quite easily put back in place and re-tensioned. The only cause for it that I can think of is the shock on the valvetrain from all the limiter action it see's in the lower gears has made it slip slightly over time to the point where it actually started to affect the tune. Also had an ECU upgrade, Link have released a new Link G4+ Xtreme, its basically the same as the G4 Xtreme but with a few new features including dual CAN ports and some other nifty things to help fine tune things, and Justin put it up on the dyno for another touch up tune making basically the same power as it had at powercruise, 663rwhp on 1 psi less boost, the car made a touch more torque and seems to be a little more responsive now too. A couple weeks went on and it was time to get ready for summernats, so I packed the car up and off it went with WONAGO, STEALTH, 1FATRAT, BRUTEUTE and BLWNWGN on the transporter. I had a pretty good time over there, entered a few events and missed out on a few as I was too busy watching skids and havin a laugh. Figured as a last minute thing I would enter the dyno competition over there just for a laugh and ended up actually coming 4th in the 6 cyl class overall, so I was pretty stoked about that. Also managed to crack the 700rwhp mark on the mainline summernats dyno, which was run by Mainline themselves. I was so stoked at this achievement! Here's a couple things for now, I still have to take stuff off my go pro and upload them to youtube. 702rwhp/523rwkw Dyno Run Skid Vid On the truck1 point

There was an intercooled version (the first Miami I ever drove was intercooled), suggestions were it made more power than that. Both the versions used to smash the HSV benchmark cars they had apparently, but unfortunately for us they used to smash everything else underneath the car too, hence there is now no cooler, and a de-tuned version of the non-intercooled motor.1 point

I new what I was letting myself in for asking the question - usual keyboard warriors on a car forum Thanks for all the answers guys.....much appreciated ( the helpful ones and amusing ones ) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk1 point

It would need to rev to 9 grand and be built well to have a chance at that displacement surely. I like the idea of a Miami or blower added under the bonnet!1 point

Intially that actually may happen however, if Ford gives the people what they want, they will sell cars......even after 2016 .Maybe some disgruntled ex employees will not buy any Ford vehicles but the general Australian public will buy.Nissan manufacturing left Australia quite a number of years ago, people still buy Nissans.Mitsubishi also left Australia some years ago, people still buy Mitsubishi cars.If Ford gets the product mix and pricing right the Australian public's memory of Ford Australia Manufacturing will gradually start fading. It will come with a 2.4L turbo so potentially, you could make it as fast if not faster than a F6 or GT1 point

Rim Rash. Gave it a 25 min stab with basic file, 1200grit and polish (which did bugger all really but whatever). Accidentally added a couple of extra scratches while working on it...lol. Hard to see in pics really but it looks a fair bit better at least. With enough effort I could probably get most of the gouges out but it's harder to work on the flat face and not colour outside the lines...need a sanding wheel thingo maybe. What REALLY pissed me off was the reason I busted the U Turn was to get my phone as I'd forgotten it at a job. Turns out it was in the car the whole time...sick.1 point

I'm going to post on here and try and set everything clean I'm sorry for what happened, I made a mistake and want to set everything right. Basically I recently purchased something from eBay in america, used it several times and then sold it for more than I paid as they are worth much more over here than they are in America. I did that and all was good, so I thought, what other products can you do this with? I saw the flash tuners and thought I could make $50 a sale off them or something and put an ad up on gumtree. I however did not realise that the american flash tuners don't work over here. I am now aware that they don't work and therefore do not want ot sell anymore of them and will give Ben his money back. I have also taken the ad of gumtree, I am not going to "rip off" anyone else and I did not intend to do this in the first place, if this was the case I purely wouldn't have sent any item. I'd appreciate if this thread could be removed but I'm happy for it to be kept up to warn people of other people doing similar things but I would like my name and address removed1 point
