That's awesome. Good to see it in action already. Need to be congratulated on going so far Tony So I've got a few mates that aren't driving fords and mentioned this briefly to them last night telling them I'll inbox them more details on Facebook. You got a little write up we could all use describing the event and classes, what cars its restricted to etc. I'll also include the post you made this morning.. Or even if the Facebook event is up and running I'll invite them to that..2 points

F*** heathcote and it's owner worse than Bobby Jane. You could do a strictly www.ls1.com.au VS www.fordxr6turbo.com day! I wouldn't even have to stir them over them to get them on side! Expensive Daewoo in one lane and Ford in the other!2 points

After some battles with the dealership on a 09 F6 I had a deposit down on, we eventually worked out an awesome deal on a brand new 2011 plate F6 - paid $4k more for a brand new one as opposed to a used one with 24000km. So here it is, Winter White, Leather, Reverse Camera - still to be fitted at 3000km inspection. Spent about 5 hours on the weekend giving it a decent paint protection coating - all the paintwork feels like glass now Enough with the words, here are some pics - PS, the wheels are for sale - only done about 310km so far. Awaiting Delivery: First Wash: After 5 Hours of Elbow Grease: Fitted a GT-E Airbox and bought a K&N Filter1 point

Yeah I'll be seeing Dave next week when I pick the surge tank and valve springs up. Just thought I'd get what info I could off here. The pw harness just seems a bit pricey for something I could do myself.1 point

Never heard of that myself, but when an airbag goes off it is due to severe (sometimes repairable) structural damage. It's costly & usually not worth it to an insurance company to repair as the car will usually not come back as good as it was pre-repairs...1 point

24K - a bargain. You probably know the "rules" already but anyway - - - do the fluids and change the plugs, fuel filter plus air filter. At 100K have a real good look at the idler pulleys and the drive belt. The pulleys get a lot of heat and load and the bearings sometimes dry out. Doing these things is pretty easy, and will not cost a lot (it is actually rewarding work IMO) and eliminates some of the common issues noted with these cars on the forum. I like redline total fuel system cleaner ( there are others) and if you use that change the filter after you run it through the system. Levis 506's - low rise of course - a size too small is mandatory as it is good advertising. A pack of Marlboro Reds wound into the shirt sleeve and no radar toting rozzas on a quiet bit of road . . . and stick the Lizard King on the six stacker for a bit of mood. Y'all gotta love it....1 point

Apparently I have to run the engine in for 1600km first, but there are a few mods planned - 3.5" CES Dump Pipe, 4.5" 100 cell Race Cat, Injectors - haven't decided on a size yet, might have to do some more research before deciding, and piping - either herrod or Plazmaman and tune It's supposed to be going for a shoot on Sunday next to a mates 700rwhp GT-E (5.4 Boss with a Vortech V3 T-Trim and heaps of other mods) I'll throw some photo's up here maybe later today, picking it up this afternoon from the dyno run this morning.1 point

London (Stratford) will be hosting the Olympic Games in 2012. You may not know is that many of the famous events, which go to make up this spectacular event, are to be especially altered for 2012. A copy of these changes has been leaked, and is reproduced below: OPENING CEREMONY The flame will be ignited by a petrol bomb thrown by a native of the area in the traditional dress of balaclava and shell suit. The flame will be contained in a large overturned police van situated on the roof of the stadium. THE EVENTS In previous Olympic Games, East London's competitors have not been particularly successful. In order to redress the balance, some of the events have been altered slightly to the advantage of local athletes. 100 METRES SPRINT Competitors will have to hold a DVD player and microwave oven (one in each arm) and on the sound of the starting pistol, a police dog will be released from a cage 10 yards behind the athletes. 110 METRES HURDLES As above but with added obstacles (I.e. car bonnets, hedges, garden fences, walls etc) HAMMER Competitors in this event may choose the type of hammer they wish to use (claw, sledge etc) the winner will be the one who can cause the most physical damage within three attempts. FENCING Entrants will be asked to dispose of as many stolen goods as possible in 5 minutes. SHOOTING A strong challenge is expected from local men in this event. The first target will be a moving police van. In the second round, competitors will aim at a post office clerk, bank teller or Securicor-style wages deliveryman. The traditional .22 rifle has been replaced in this event by a choice of either a Browning automatic handgun or sawn-off 12-bore shotgun. BOXING Entry to the boxing will be restricted to husband and wife teams, and will take place on a Friday night. The husband will be given 15 pints of lager while the wife will be told not to make him any tea when he gets home. The bout will then commence. CYCLING TIME TRIALS Competitors will be asked to break into the University bike shed and take an expensive mountain bike owned by some mummy's boy on his first trip away from home. All against the clock. CYCLING PURSUIT As above, but the bike will be owned by a visiting member of the Australian rugby team, who will witness the theft. MODERN PENTATHLON Amended to include mugging, breaking and entering, flashing, joyriding and arson. SWIMMING EVENTS All waterways are currently being tested for toxicity levels, once one is found that can support human life, swimming events will be organised, please note that the Synchronised Swimming event for this year will comprise dropping acid and watching all the funky ripples on the pool, the specific musical support to this event will be provided by "The Verve." THE MARATHON A safe route has yet to be decided. MEN'S 50KM WALK Unfortunately this will have to be cancelled as the police cannot guarantee the safety of anyone walking the streets of East London, especially anyone that appears to be... mincing THE CLOSING CEREMONY Entertainment will include formation rave dancing by members of the Stratford Health in the Community anti-drug campaigners, synchronised rock throwing, and music by the Ilford community choir. The flame will be extinguished by police riot water cannon following the inevitable pitch invasion by confused West Ham organised hooliganism club. The stadium itself will then be boarded up before the local athletes break into it and remove all the copper piping and the central heating boiler1 point

Sounds like you're doing the right thing Keddy After reading and watching the video about Yarra Valley, I'd go with either them or Preston as I've not heard 1 bad thing about them. Keep us posted on what the places say that you go to and who you end up deciding on! Good luck Lol those bottom packs have definitely seen better days phantom haha1 point

The bloke who rebuilt my box said that the clutch packs are to far apart and towards the rear of the box and that's why the torque kills them . These are the clutch packs from mine. the brown ones are first and second and are still like new, the other set is third and fourth and are warped and blue in colour1 point

I have heard his working on it, *Beep* will be the guinea pig for that I think, but il go to him cause his someone I trust with a 4 speed and well priced, and I also know what's in the box.1 point

Timing = who needs it. Cross the line first not try to break records Broken parts = don't push your car so hard, no one worries about it on the street Hit a roo = insurance plus it's a risk you take when going anywhere Slower track = pretty slow at prinny when most back off at 120 Daz mate thank you finally someone understands my point. Adam has listed very good points about heathcote and remember we can camp there if you make it fri-sat overnighter. Nothing like racing, sinking tins around a fire then racing again the next day.1 point

And I think it's a good idea that all cars and the real powerful cars gotta run street tires cos as the title says king off the street so then if you loose traction and get Owned by a less powerful car well that's bad luck that's what happens on the street and it gives people with less power more of a chance cos we all no someone who has spent 50 grand on a engine and running gear has slicks of course he is gonna win it will be more fun this way lol that's my 2 cents1 point

Isn't the spray pattern also incorrect or not ideal? And the flow rates are all over the shop?1 point
