  3. I bought an XCal3 so I'm a lucky one but it could easily have been an XCal2 back when I bought it in 2008/early 2009 before any of this sh!tstorm. It seems to make the conventional wisdom of fit all parts and tune once ring even more true...but woe to those that need a retune when something breaks, they will be the big losers. Cummon sniper/open source tuning!! : /

  6. Lol I will get some up in a couple weeks mate as next days off I am heading to Sydney. Received my new atomic ovate valve springs and v/spring removal tool today so that will be the next thing on the list to get done as well as head studs. Then after that is up grade the cooler and retune.

  7. 10w30 is recommended by Ford for these engines in NA form. Once you add a turbo and some boost oil temp will be a little higher, that's why ford recommends a w40 oil and you should stick with it. If you do anything that will cause oil to be heated any further like track work, serious hill climbs, heavy towing you can maybe go up to w50, w60 would only be for extreme situations. Remember that ford built an engine oil temperature warning light in to these things and only few have ever seen the thing come on so they can't be getting that hot to require a w60 oil.
