I have been reading quite a bit about these new EV14 injectors and are getting quite a bit of contradicting information about them, I have several contacts in the technical side of bosch who can give me some accurate info if I can supply part numbers to them.

I have seen them advertised as Xspurt injectors and come in 3 different sizes and lengths and then others are advertising 4 or more sizes and in the same length. I have heard some are modified etc etc

If anyone has ev14's, I would appreciate if you could give me the bosch part number off the side of them if you could.

Cheers

Mick

Not that easy! Injector Dynamics wipe off the last 3 numbers on their 1000cc.

7-23-09-09-040053 is the number on the ID1000's that's still intact.

Keep us posted on your discoveries :-)

The back of my EV-14's have two numbers on them the first is the usual Bosch number except the last 3 numbers of the code are not readable.

It reads: 0 280 158 ??? which is the type of number used for thir 'series production' not the 'motorsport' range.

The second set of numbers is the one I mentioned above and I have no idea what it refers too. Good initiative with then numbers though, will be interesting to see what the xpurt numbers come up with.

Five-o-motorsport and injectors online (IIRC) have some big EV-14's too.

I'm sure it was Hiro that said they sell them, it would be good to get the different numbers from his stock.

EV14 injectors relate to a style not an actual injector

The aust distributor that sells the Xspurt, advetise 3 sizes, 725 cc, 1000cc and 2000cc and the injectors come in 3 different lengths, I have seen other sizes in EV14 style injectors but does not mention Xspurt, Bosch technical and trainers do not know of the term Xspurt in relation ship to their own injectors

I know EV14's are a style and there are literally hundreds of bosch EV-14 'styles' in their production and motorsport range. Are you saying the xspurt is not a Bosch manufactured injector? I was under the impression that all EV-14's are Bosch made which is where I maybe getting confused!

My reference about EV14's style was I have spoken to several people who think EV14 is an actual injector, but did not realise it was a style and there are many EV14's available and each would have it's own specific tune requirements

I believe Xspurts to be a bosch EV14 injector, but my contacts at bosch do not know of them by that name, it appears somebody has found an injector which possibly has good flow and are marketing them as some new beaut item.

I have heard a story about the Xspurts being a CNG injector but again until I can find numbers do not know if this is true or not.

If I could get numbers I could see Bosch's correct flow specs and determine if they are a modified injector or nor based on what the seller claims flow specs are.
