Been on the forum for a while now and come across lots of great info.

The tyre calculator link is very helpful I found in a thread from trolling through lots of info on rims and tyres. I am hoping we can put a comprehensive list of info together for our cars on tyres and rims. Maybe get it as a sticky with this important info to help people out with rim and tyre purchases.

There are a lot more knowledgeable characters on this forum than so hopefully we can have some good input in this area

So here is my part to it

TYRE SIZE CALCULATOR

Mods if you think this is a waste of time just delete thread! Just an idea..

I prefer to use this tyre size calculator, it gives you more information. Tyre Size Calculator

This is what I've worked out, that should roughly fit a BF Sedan:

Front

Size___Min___Max

18x8.5 +17 > +43

18x9.0 +24 > +36

18x9.5 +30 > +30

Rear

Size___Min___Max

18x8.5 +17 > +48

18x9.0 +24 > +41

18x9.5 +30 > +35

Sorry I've only done 18" If some one could fill in 19" and 20" that will be great.

has any one tried painting the standard FG rims?

I tried going black on mine today (taped over the ford badge and nuts)

its silver I started by doing a light sand on it, then wiped that off and

then decided to spray it black gloss. it came up nice except for parts on the rim

seem to come up with silver dots were it seems like the paint wont stick to it.

ive done 2 coats and the same on all rims. just little specs were it doesnt want to stick.

any suggestions?
