Hi

I have seen theres a few threads in reguards to valve springs on BA Ts but my Q is what type? I have an 03 (nov build if that makes a difference) and am wanting to get just over 300rwkw. Would rated phoon springs be enough or cause I gotta replace them go a better/stronger aftermarket type?

Also can I do springs before I do mods with out affecting engine? I would think so being that they are just better but it cant hurt to ask in case it does hurt the car.

Thanks

Nizpro springs are popular, but Atomic do a few versions, starting at around $360.

Phoon springs may hold the power and boost you are after, but they may suffer and fail sooner than aftermarket ones. You will feel a difference on even a stock motor too

Yes mate, you can fit them to stock motors with no mods. Check out the web-site HERE

Let me know if you want to go with these as I should be able to give you a good price

Senna which valve springs would you suggest chasing 300 rwkw and how much can you get each of them for?

Cheers :spoton:

I've got an '05 BA with stock springs and have only just starting to have problems at 322kW but I still have the stock cat, I'm hoping they'll come good once I fix that.

I've been told its a bit of pot luck as to whether you need valve springs or not so it might be worth waiting till you actually encounter problems...
