I have an 03 (nov build if that makes a difference) and am wanting to get just over 300rwkw. Would rated phoon springs be enough or cause I gotta replace them go a better/stronger aftermarket type? Also can I do springs before I do mods with out affecting engine? I would think so being that they are just better but it cant hurt to ask in case it does hurt the car. Thanks

You will feel a difference on even a stock motor too

Posted 25/11/08 09:58 AM Share Posted 25/11/08 09:58 AM I've got an '05 BA with stock springs and have only just starting to have problems at 322kW but I still have the stock cat, I'm hoping they'll come good once I fix that.I've been told its a bit of pot luck as to whether you need valve springs or not so it might be worth waiting till you actually encounter problems...
