HI guys

As the title states, I'm looking for around 280 or so rear wheel kilowatts. I drive a BA MK2 turbo ute..

Whats the best way of going about this? I was thinking:

full exhaust

injectors; siemens deka or bosch 968

FMIC; one of the forum sponsors

CAI (currently have SS growler; thoughts?? under batter one?)

ford flasher (of course)

possible valve springs

Any thoughts, opinions, help etc welcome.

Valve springs

Injectors

Cat

Custom tune

Cooler (if you have the money)

Intake doesn't make all that much difference. Just get the F6 CAI it's a cheap mod.

You don't need to do a full exhaust, just the Cat will free it up to at least 320 to 330rwkw.

That would just about do it mate, maybe a fuel pump and definitely valve springs too.

You've pretty well got it covered mate.

Exhaust - Stock one will do it, just need to change the cat and maybe the cat-back exhaust for some easier flow.

Injectors - The Bosch 968's will do the job easy, siemens if you plan on going well over 300

Cooler - any of the sponsor coolers will handle this power

CAI - your growler is perfect

Flash Tuner - answered your own question!

Valve springs may handle it for a while, but better to change them especially in a BA

300 is getting easier and easier to get to know mate - enjoy!

4" cat will do it, Nizpro valve springs (check out the group buy section) and injectors you can either go the 62lb Siemens, Bosch or whatever your favorite tuner uses.

Those mods should comfortably see you over the 300rwkw mark?

From memory your driving a manual - I know some ppl's clutches get a bit iffy around the 280 mark so might want to look into that.

To see 280, you would probably be able to miss out on a full exhaust, intercooler and valve springs.

You could do it with a Tune, Injectors and CAI.

If ya wanna take it further then a fuel pump (cheap insurance), Cat & clutch would be more suitable mods than the cooler and full exhaust.

If you were to throw a cooler and exhaust on, it would make more power or the same power with less boost.

Correct me if im wrong ppl!!!

The cat you will need a 4" bodied one, no smaller than this - 5" is preferable.

Injectors as I said 968's will do it up to around 350rwkw

Valve springs - Atomic ones are a bit cheaper than Nizpro, both are good items, will handle your power with ease
