Just finished installing a new setup - 3.5" dump with fluted waste and excluder plate along with a custom stainless cat. Aim was to see how the standard rear twin 2 1/4" system went with just the dump and cat change.... and proof was in the pudding of a @35 RWKW... with still plenty left to find in tune if required. Install was a breeze - only a 10mm tweak of height at the end of the 47cm long cat up to get max ground clearance.

So now a really nice 290rwkw running slightly rich AFRs and max 14psi in the mid range with taper to 12 at 5k. This with the six speed ZF is a WEE RIPPER. Haven't had so much fun since I bought my new lawn mower.

Thanks to Trevor at CES for the super flowed system - both dump and cat, Tony at Jack Beedhams Exhausts for his handy work, and Mark at Power Torque Engines for the usual tune mastery. It's great to work with a tuner that allows you to dictate limits of safety and can allow for economy, power and long life survivability.

( dump picture here, scroll down to the ute setup to see the dump... cat has changed a little - http://www.cesracing.com.au/Products/ )

Some pics post install - sorry about not getting any pre, but the old camera schitte itself and ended up in the bin.

:spoton:

Day Tab..... yeah the ZF is charging, no worries. It's had a reasonable workout and hasn't done anything strange yet - and that has been in the Brissie heat of late. Fingers crossed it should be ok. Going to run another tune into it when (and if) the temps drop. That'll be around the 300 mark - and all I'm going to do with this one. It's fine and fun as a daily driver.

Forced - give Trev a ring at CES for $$ on the dump....(07) 3200 2333.... mine was the first of the "early models"... but is a very nice piece of work indeed. BTW the custom stainless cat is 47cm long, 3.5" out to a 4" Magnaflow metal core (weld marks at the centre), then back to 3.5". The original ceramic cat is now door stop.

Cheers.
