FSIX Member 566 Member For: 19y 3m 3d Posted 19/08/06 12:54 PM Share Posted 19/08/06 12:54 PM I was looking for a fuel/surge tank for my F6 as when the car is under half a tank under full power for 12 odd seconds it surges for fuel through the gears.so I looked at some fuel surge tank setups.I settled on a custom made setup form DPC Performance, Damo put the car up the hoist and had a look where it would best to fit a tank of a decent size and also wanting it to be not intrusive.Below is the result, a 3 litre (app) size tank with a Bosch 044 fuel pump neatly tucked away in-between a gap up in the rear quarter panel. The whole setup is rubber soft mounted. Also he is looking at making a cover to go over the whole setup. This system hasn’t been costed yet, as it was finished late last night and he hadn’t looked at the cost of all the parts and fittings used, if the demand is there this kit will be made as a complete DIY kit. Thanks to Damo for quality work and a neat setup.
