This new thread: http://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/index.ph...opic=27602&st=0

is a great idea, but after only 2 days, its already a starting to look a real mess. Not bagging anyone, but if we are going to 'sticky' a topic such as this, I think it needs to be more structured. At the moment, it will just drift along as a rambling back and forth of random questions and answers. And it won't be too long before a someone asks a question, and the response is "oh, that was answered back on page 17". :thinkof:

The only way to do what you ask would be to create a seperate section so all questions have there own thread as far as I can see.....

Unless you have some other suggestion.

What the majority wants we can do.

(pending further discussion).

I think if you dont break the law there should be no reason to go to slymeats Q&A thread.

With Sly's blessing I think that would be the only way to avoid what Annie is afraid of. Would definately be a good resource - but then there's always the search button.

Maybe a poll would be in order :welcome2:

Hey, I only create problems, not solve them. :smilielol:

I think Sly's thread can/will be very informative, but creating another forum just for this stuff is getting a bit much IMO.

After all the info only relates to NSW. The other states will all have there own variations of the rules and regulations.

I thread on each subject is do-able as long as the subject stays on track. It wouldn't be to hard to divide up the current thread.

This may involve a bit of work, but what about creating one separate thread that just compiles all the useful stuff in a question and answer format. 1 Q&A = 1 post. No one can reply to the thread at all (its locked). It would be kept up as an important topic.

The existing thread is no longer a sticky, but people can pose up new questions, and if its been covered already, you just put in a link to the specific post in the locked sticky thread. If it hasn't, Sly does his best to answer, and a mod or someone then (at some point later) adds this new Q&A as a new single post (with grammar and spelling cleaned up) in the locked sticky thread.

This way, we have a whole thread of posts, and each post is simply a question and its corresponding answer.

Ok, I've done it...

There is now one thread for discussion and asking questions, found here...

Sly's General Questions, The Discussion.

and one thread dedicated to the answers, found here...

Sly's General Questions, The Answers.
