My plan at the moment is to be replace the front discs with some slotted DBA rotors and change pads all around. Has anyone done this already? if so, what is the model number for the front discs? Would you guys recommend the rear discs as well? I am hoping to the job myself. It should be a straight fit.I dont know what brake pads to get. I know the Bendix Ultimates are a bit hard on the discs so I was thinking of Bendix Advances or either Heavy Dutys. One thing that worries me is whether changing the discs to slotted will affect my ABS. Oh yeah also whether the brake shudder will come back Thanks for your help guys.

I am not usually that hard on the brakes but I just want something better than stock. I also love tough looking brakes I am budgeting around $800. Cracks in the rotors are quite common in drilled rotors. Some slotted rotors would be better in your application.Just my opinion.By the way. I had same issues as you with standard brakes.I've got the full PBR kit on now. Too good. No shudder, and no sh*tting my pants due to brake fade with stocky sh*t brakes. The larger PBR front rotors make a significant difference.cheerstom

Did you change your brake fluid as well?

I would have assumed that with more cooling they would work better. Why do they tend to crack?

They are a Direct fit and look nice too.
