Hey all fellow T Utesters!

Seriously thinking about getting rid of the stocko cover and going the hard lid. Just a mater of $$, need to save.

Wondering how many of you Ute owners out there have gone the custom way and haven't just gone for the FORD hard cover and spoiler.

Would be very interested in seeing what you have done. Please post pics if you have them.

I know fabtech make some nifty looking hardcovers with the twin bubbles on the back, if that helps

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Twin bubbles? Is that similiar to the ones used on the V8 Utes? That would be nice.

AWC had a note in their coming soon section a while ago saying they were developing a hard top 30% lighter than factory, and with optional remote central locking.

It seemed t disappear from their website though. Might be worth looking into...

I found a genuine ford hardcover in my colour (black of course :Imwifhim: ) in sydney for $950 off ebay with gas struts, locks etc. I installed it myself and its perfect. No warp and its nice and straight...Only thing wrong was it has a few scratches on the front side which I buffed and brushed touched, now it looks brand new...cant complain for $950

Nahh dude, you can't! Nice find indeed. Don't think I'll be as lucky with a Mandarin cover.

harvestgreenxr, yeah, if you can. Think they would look hot.
