Hi Guys

Been a member for a while and thought I would get on and let you guys know a bit about my tornado

Its a 07 BF F6 Tornado with approx 95,000 kms.

Just picked the car up from Tunehouse with 430rwkw street tune and 454rwkw race tune. It blew me away when I saw the graph and then drove the car. I cannot speak highly enough of Jim & Tony and their work. The car has the following mods:

- Process West Stage 3 Intercooler Kit with airbox and throttle relocation (I have heard that the plenums can cause lean outs in cylinders 5 & 6)

- Process West surge tank

- Tunehouse exhaust

- Tunehouse THR Injectors

- Actuator

- Wastegate

- SCT Flash Tuner

I had the car tuned at C & V previously with PWR intercooler and deka injectors with 330rwkw. Then I stupidly took the car to a tuner in seven hills for a tune of 337rwkw but what a mess, it boost spiked constantly and only when I fitted the process west kit and sent the turbo to precision turbos for a check up did I see the wastegate was bored off centre and was getting stuck open. Cost me $850 for a new housing and new wastegate port!

All mechanical work was completed at BT Motorsport in Smithfield (Bridgestone Smithfield) Tom and the boys did a great job and really looked after me and the car and had the complete kit fitted in 2 days.

The car then went to Tunehouse as Brad from Atomic had recommended them. They had it for 3 days to fit their exhaust and injectors and did a complimentary check of the whole car before the tuning.

They finished tuning the car at 11.05pm and called to tell me how it went!!!

So I am wrapped and am glad I dont have to deal with donkeys anymore!!!

A massive thank you to Tom and Boys @ BT Motorsport and Jim/Tony and Boys @ Tunehouse.

Ill post some photos and dyno graph shortly for you guys.

There was a particular tuner in Victoria a few years ago who was detonating built engines to bits at only 400rwks and needed a scape goat...so he decided that it was my plenum that was causing the problem and hence the seed was planted. With more than 1/2 of the cars in the top 25 using my plenum and other cars making record power levels on both pump fuel and race fuels that myth is well and truly debunked.

Anyway...nice result above...cant go wrong with Jim and the boys at Tunehouse

Good result there.

From experience, I know your car would be fun to drive with that much power.

I have a Process West Plenum on my car, and am having no problems regarding 'leaning out'. :dontknow:

Its all in the tuning, and Tunehouse is one of the best.

Enjoy your car. :beerchug:

Hi Kev

I didnt just mean your plenum I meant plenums in general, some people are saying that the new FG log type inlet is the way to go as it evenly distributes the air. To be honest after reading many other posts on here regarding the plenums and having spoken to Tony @ Tunehouse my mind is at ease with the plenums so I think my next step will be the plenum so I will be calling you shortly Kev as im looking to get Tunehouse boys to change over my valve springs in the near future so may as well complete at same time.

Otherwise all I can say is great gear Kev, whole kit installed very easily, looks great and most importantly makes the power!!!!!!

Thanks jescam, yes it is a handful and love the look on the clubbie brigade faces when you leave them by 5 car lengths wheel spinning all the way!!!!

And yes I think a plenum will be my next step.

I am actually looking into shortening rear axle at Bosnjaks and widening rear wheel wells in tub to get some extra rubber under the rear, its something I completed on another car and the boys @ BT Motorsport did a great job. Ill post pics if I go ahead.
