So...... long story short, broke the threaded bit of this breather pipe. Is there a special name for it? Obviously need to get it replaced :B):

Basically it's one end of the engine breather pipe.

Just buy a fitting with the same thread on one end and a nipple on the other and replace that plastic pipe with a hose.

put up a post in the wanted section for the fitting. The get removed when people add an aftermarket plenum. Going rate is aproxx a sixer.

Ford wan $40 or $50 for them.

Good luck with a threaded fitting and nipple as the pipe is hard plastic and will be a biatch to get on there.

(BTW they are known as pushlok fittings)

Ta Luke,

Can you just go 'shopping' in a wreckers? like get them to point out what cars you're looking for and come out the other end with a basket full of stuff?

I broke that part recently. It was a bitch trying to explain it to the ford parts guy. Was only $22 or there abouts. Was the same price at 2 different ford places

Its officially the PCV fitting. (Positive crankcase ventilation). I busted it a while back also. Can't remember what fraud charged me for it.

It is a bitch to get the threaded bit out also. If you use those "reverse pliers" (ie - the ones that push out when you squeeze them, rather than inwards, I forgot their real name) You can stick them in, squeeze them real hard and twist......

$20 bucks from ford is orite!!

they tried to rip me $60+. head to a local tuner, as once someone fits a plenum they dont need them anymore. they should have a few laying around. be sure to plug the hole in the crossover before driving but.
