Found a better way as I did some more searching since my Apexi gauges run through a control unit you only have to wire the unit and not each gauge as they are electronic gauges all the sensors are under the bonnet.

I tried to be clear but give good detail, hope it helps someone as I had trouble finding this info !

1. lifted up plate where the gauge pod sits, pop out gear leaver surrounding gently with flat head screwdriver & undone the consol side panels (L shape) 2x screw under the gear lever surround cover & then undone 2x screws & pulled out tissue box holder unplug power source wires to remove tissue box for room.

2.tape each gauge harness to a plastic coated coat hanger & feed them down to the drivers side floor be patient!, put control unit in front of the gear lever & plugged gauge harnesses in.

3. plugged in boost & E.G.T harness to control unit then feed them throught to the passanges side of car, then just above passangers side carpet there is a big rubber oval bung drilled a hole for each harness & feed them through.

4.Drilled two hole on the the computer mount under the bonnet & bolted on the boost sensor with 4mm bolts, lossened intercooler & intake pipes to give better access to the 4mm fuel pressure regulator hose put in the T piece & run the hose neatly across to the sensor.

5.Run the E.G.T harness over the gearbox & got my mate a the muffler shop to drill, die grind & weld in the probe holder bolt just behind the cat in line with the o2 sensor (looks factory) then inserted the probe & thighten.

6.Drilled hole for the SS inductions gauge pod which I had to make larger with a round fill (or use a die grinder) to fit these gauges as they a 60mm. screwed down holder & installed gauges all apexi el2 gauges just plug in no mess NO hose running into your car all sensors under the bonnet !

7. Behind fuse box inside drivers side there is a blue plug which is ment for phone car kit, has power, power on ignition, mute & earth. get a test light & turn key on and of to find POWER WITH IGNITION then make sure you have your radio on as when you put the test light in the mute it will cut out & then come back on when you remove it.

Then you will no the one that does nothing is the Earth.

Place 3mm spades on the end of the power to ignition & the earth coming of the control unit and plug them in to the right slots on the blue plug.

Then you need power with light pull out the traction control button use the test light turn the lights on & of to find it.

Hint Blue & White wire on the left but make sure with the test light, strip the wire & back a bit you don't have to pull it out of the switch then wrap you wire around it and put a splice over the top & then wrap it in electrical tape so it does not touch anything else.

8.That is about it I used small clear zippy ties to make it all neat & look factory, will post some pics soon when I work out how.

Anyone wants EL2 gauges please PM me & I will let you know where I got them as I searched for months for a good price got them from a trust worthy dealer US 2x gauges & control unit $534 AUD posted.

I got the white faced gauges light up electro luminescence blue with a red needle & there are black face with blue numbers & red needle that match the XR dash perfect come with all harness, sensors & probes ect.
