I have only put 250ks on it so far so I will share my initial impressions.

Compared with my T which was returned to stock the Phoon feels stronger particularly in the mid range through the gears, though how this would translate into a 400m time is a bit hard to call , but the bumometer would suggest low 14s.

Handling is much better with the car sitting a lot flatter through the twisties, steering also seems a little more direct. Given the stiffer suspension V the T the ride is suprisingly good IMO.

The gear box and driveline seem strong but still a little tight as you would expect at this point. Clutch uptake is good and where you would expect it and not high up as has been suggested.First gear feels a bit tall to me, maybe this has some correlation to the 1/4 times we have been reading about ?? but in second gear it starts to boogie and keeps pulling pretty hard from there

The FPV brakes seem pretty adequate and a far cry from my previous stockers with DBA slotted rotors and ferodo performance pads

As for the look of the car and the interior , well I am pretty happy with it and the Rapid is really starting to grow on me.

I will post up some more once I have a few more Ks on the clock and it starts to loosen up a bit more. Stay tuned in the coming months for Edit with 968 injectors and APS zorst as I think this will round the car off nicely

As a former Phoon knocker you could say I am now converted as overall it seems to me to be a better allround performer than the T, and yes it is a fun car to drive, even though stock

Mondie , driveline feels pretty good , though only 250ks on the clock . I remain hopeful of staying clunck free.

BTW thanks all for the kind words :spoton:

So if l was to buy such a beast and edit it, would l have 260rwkw or more? And would the edit be at all detectable by Ford?

Now that would be a temptation :spoton:
