It's prolly the AC pipes or the thermo syphon effect in the turbo or the turbo spinning still. I saw one continue spinning for nearly 30 seconds after shut down over the weekend.

Its the turbo spooling down.. Dont worry about it. Mine does it and I find it quite hard to hear. You can hear it more when the car is cold.

windy grindy noise

Is it a grinding noise, a spinning noise, or a water boiling/gurgling sound?

The last two options are fine - the first one isn't.

Is it really loud or do u only really hear it with the bonnet open, these turbos will spool down for a good 30secs or more, and they are ball bearing so u will hear them also. if its really loud with the bonnet closed you may have a problem
