After a few ppl getting these installed, I'm curious as to how they fare in the real world.

I am a fan of gettting the clutch right. That is, very high take-up point and nice clamping pressure. Saving time from have to drop your foot all the way to the floor.

I have some short clips of 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 with my stock F6 clutch and would like for guys with the ripshifter to try and get some footage up. I know Extreme F6 has one in his beastie, and isn't camera shy, so that would be good to see his gearchanges with one installed..

Tune is my 'Street Tune', for those interested, all safety on, including MCT tables kicking in when this vid was taken. power around 270rwkw on my 'correlation' dyno... Ambient temp 31 deg, intake temps, 135-140 deg F. ( hot )

Last vid is what happens when you apply NO throttle control to this tune. My drag Tune spins 3rd gear, but I won't run it in this heat.

This is my camera setup

enjoy, and feedback much appreciated from ripshifters..

If it doesn't play the file, import it to Windows movie maker.

Maybe I don't have the right codecs installed?? I dunno..... stupid WMV output files.

2 problems, firstly if I changed that hard on the street I would 1 not move and 2 prolly leave rear end parts all over the road and look like a dick.

On the strip when I have my axles taken care off and some tyres that have a remote chance of traction ill video it.

I can show you some new incar 3rd gear 100 plus kmph smokies without flooring it if you like

Why have that much power if you can't get it to the ground using technique.

As I mentioned, my last video is with no throttle control. Even with my comparitivly low power output, I smoke 2nd and into 3rd if I just bury my foot to the firewall on my street tune...

As you can see, technique with my right foot allows me to change hard and get onto the gas and move forward, Hence the reason I ran 12.80's so consistantly.

One thing I found when I drove a manual Phoon was how clunky the drive line is.

It was stock too so I hate to think how long the driveline will last with that abuse with 270+ rwkw.
