Aftermarket Leather

Looking for a good upholsterer who can put in a leather interior. My dealer had someone but they would not do it because I have side air bags. Any recomondations would be appreciated, preferably in Sydney. Has anyone done this with side air bags and do you void you warranty? If anyone has pics that would also be great!!

We had the same question when we ordered or XR6T.

Found out the ford leather is not all leather, leather inserts on the front of the seats and vinyl on the rest.

Herrod do a seat kit with I think would be very good, but he would not supply it direct to us at rrp even that we would organise the car to be droped of the him in Melbourne before comming to Adelaide, we had to go through his dealer here in Adelaide.

Unfortanatly the dealer lost the sale due to price of the car and did not seen to interested in suppling it to us.....said something like we make no money out of the Herrod gear.....we offer it to OUR CUSTOMERS if they buy a vehicle from us.

We are using a respected trimmer here in Adelaide to do it when the car arrives....unless the dealer and herrod have a change of heart....guess that is what happens when you set up one dealer and one dealer only to sell your stuff!

Hmm... I havent got a XRT but just wondering. Are the fairmont seats like this as well?

The leather seats are all leather except for the part at the back of the front seats, facing the back, where the pouch thing goes and the pouch itself.

didnt Dagabond get aftermarket leather? Try giving Westpoint Ford a call, I believe they got aftermarket Leather for Dagabond.

Spoke to Herrods and they can do it via their NSW dealer, which means sending the seats, console etc to Vic. Not ideal, I was hoping a reputable Sydney company could do it.
